VS Factory Seamaster 300M “No Time to Die” V4 Review
VSF NTTD is one of my favourite Reps, Infact this is the only rep i wear personally for last 3 years.
Since its initial release, the replica Omega Seamaster “No Time to Die” by VS Factory has been a favorite among watch enthusiasts. Now, in early 2025, VS Factory has introduced the new V4. Featuring a full titanium build and the newly developed super clone 8806 movement, the V4 is certainly getting attention. It is certainly good but is it the best option for NTTD? Lets compare these and see which version is best for You.
A Quick Timeline of VS Factory's Seamaster NTTD Versions
V1: Stainless steel case and bracelet — inauthentic to the titanium gen version.
V2: Titanium case introduced, but still paired with a stainless steel mesh bracelet.
V3: Added a titanium mesh bracelet. Much closer to the gen in weight and feel but now hard to find.
V4 (2025): Adds a “super clone” 8806 movement and maintains full titanium construction.
- Note: Some dealers label V3 as V5 or even V6. These names vary by seller, but VS Factory has only made three Major upgrades since launch.
- (V3 will not be added here on out in this review as it is same as v4 with movement upgrade, and after v4 release it is Discontinued)
V2 vs. V4: What’s the Real Difference?
Build & Weight
V2: Titanium case, stainless steel bracelet. Heavier, but with a smoother bracelet finish.
V4: Full titanium (case + bracelet). Weighs approximately 96.9g, about 4 grams lighter than the gen. Some say V4’s bracelet finish feels rougher, but it offers improved comfort and corrosion resistance.
Bracelet Quality
V2’s steel mesh bracelet is known for its polish and smooth edges. It’s heavier but feels more premium in hand.
V4’s titanium mesh bracelet is lighter but can feel slightly rawer in finish—still a major step forward in authenticity and comfort.
Movement Comparison
V2 uses a modified Sea-Gull 2824, a time-tested Chinese movement known for durability and easy servicing.
V4 features the new super clone 8806, designed to mimic the genuine Omega Movement more closely. However:
It’s not a perfect clone—the balance wheel is visibly different if you disassemble the movement.
Its parts Cannot be changed with genuine Omega 8806, unlike Dandong’s Rolex clones (3135, 3235).
“The movement shares a similar architecture with VS Factory’s earlier 8500 and P.9000 calibers—proven and reliable, though not a significant advancement.”

Should You Buy the V4?
Get the V4 if:
You want the lightest, most authentic-looking version available.
You value a more accurate movement replica (even if it’s not 1:1).
You care about full titanium construction for realism and comfort.
Stick with the V2 if:
You prefer a smoother, better-finished bracelet.
You want to save money without sacrificing reliability.
You prioritize a proven movement (Sea-Gull 2824) with years of track record.
⚖️Final Verdict
The V4 is a solid step forward, especially for collectors who appreciate technical improvements and design fidelity. However, the V2 remains a great value, offering a similar experience with a smoother bracelet and ultra-reliable movement. The difference in weight and the visual appeal of the new movement may matter to some, but not all.
And thanks to the solid case back on this model, the movement’s visual imperfections are hidden anyway—making the “upgrade” less essential for many buyers.
If you’re a serious collector chasing realism and can get V4 at a fair price, it’s worth considering. But for everyday wearers or value seekers, the V2 is still an excellent choice.
